ZOO

The world's most famous zoo is home to more than 600 species of animals. This zoo is committed to the conservation of wildlife and threatened habitats and successfully breeding species facing extinction.

There are daily programs of events including Animal Encounters, which give visitors the opportunity to learn more about the animals. The Web of Life Project demonstrates both the inter-connectedness and diversity of different life forms by displaying over 100 species of plants and animals.

Must sees are the nocturnal world display and the aquarium. Today the Zoo is threatened with closure due to lack of funds.
